Society of European Philosophy,
EFS (Eurooppalaisen filosofian seura ry)

...is a society registered in Tampere, Finland.

Society aims at:
- maintaining and increasing interest in the European philosophical tradition;
- supporting independent philosophical education and research in Finland.
Members represent a wide variety of professionals and devotees of philosophy all around the country.
Society of European Philosophy establishes contacts with equal institutions especially within Europe and thrives at developing forms of cultural exchange in the field of philosophy.

Different modes of activity have been:

Society publishes the philosophical magazine niin&näin four times a year.
