It's 4 issues yearly contain articles, columns, essays, translations, book-reviews, and discussion on philosophically related topics or from philosophical viewpoints. The magazine is directed at everyone interested in the basic, elementary issues of life - not only at professionals in philosophy. At the same time, however, the magazine functions as a publishing forum for Finnish academic research on philosophy, and refereeing procedure is practiced with the texts offered as research articles.
The editorial staff calls for new texts: articles, essays, translations, and discussion commentary. On book-reviews the writers are adviced to consult the editor-in-chief.
The magazine does not pay fees for contributors.
